Our Primary role

Middleton Chambers follows the traditional Chambers model. We facilitate the administration, daily operations and growth of our Barristers’ practices.

We do not offer legal advice. All legal enquiries and matters are dealt with by Counsel once instructed accordingly.

Straight Talk. Practical Solutions

Middleton Chambers is a mixed set of Chambers recently formed under the new BSB rules.

Our modern business philosophy is based on long-standing traditions and service excellence.

We will strive to establish a set that will rival other more established chambers through high-quality advice and representation, responsive and friendly personal service, a mixed set unrivalled in effort and client service and strong and sustainable client relationships.

Our Commitment

Our business model is predicated on providing outstanding advice and representation together with transparency in relation to fees. We seek to operate as cost-effectively and as efficiently as possible.

Practice Areas

We accept matters in Courts and Tribunals across England and Wales.

As a mixed set, we accept instructions in most areas of law. Where we cannot provide the level of service we are committed to providing, we will seek to refer your matter onwards to the best of our ability.

Chambers enjoys the advantage of having a number of barristers who speak foreign languages and are active members in jurisdictions around the world

Fees can be negotiated on a fixed basis, an hourly rate or by conditional fee agreement. We also accept direct professional access work.

We are committed to excellence. We aim to provide the very highest level of service to our clients at all times. We welcome and encourage feedback as this is an important part of our efforts to review and improve our practices and procedures.  Should you wish to provide us with feedback, please contact P at aul Wright pw@middleton-chambers.com

We recognise that there may be times when our service falls short of expectations, despite our very best efforts. We encourage ongoing communication so that any issues can be identified and resolved as early as possible.  We maintain a formal complaints procedure to assist with the appropriate handling of any complaints. Should you wish to bring a formal complaint to our attention, please contact Sean Middleton at sgm@middleton-chambers.com

Equal Opportunities Policy
